Clubs and courses

Regatta Racer can navigate the courses below mark by mark. Pick your club and the course for the day in the app and it shows the next mark, which side to leave it, the distance and angle to it, and an estimated time to get there.

The list currently covers 43 clubs in 8 countries and more than 1,700 courses. Clubs that race on the same water often share a course book, which is why some course counts match. Windward/leeward courses work anywhere and don’t need a club listed here.

Where the course data comes from

Courses and marks are taken from each club’s published sailing instructions, course cards and mark lists. Where a club publishes mark coordinates they are used as given. Where it doesn’t, positions are worked out from charts and course diagrams, so some marks are approximate. Laid marks also move from season to season.

Treat the app as an aid. Your sailing instructions and the race committee’s signals always take precedence, and you should keep a proper lookout for the marks themselves.

If you spot a mark in the wrong place or a course that has changed, let us know and it will be corrected in the next update.
